Megha Chopra and Mohit Jain Named EPM Community Leads


The ODTUG Board of Directors
is pleased to introduce ACE.png Megha Gupta and ACE.png Mohit Jain as the new EPM Community leads. With over 14 years of experience in Oracle EPM, they bring an incredible foundation of knowledge and a passion for education to the role. The EPM Community will benefit not only from the depth and breadth of the technical expertise Megha and Mohit provide, but also from their enthusiasm for the community.

Megha Chopra is an Oracle ACE with 14+ years of experience. She has a mixture of business intelligence and technical knowledge on consolidation, reporting tools, and Oracle EBS to successfully capture requirements from the business perspective and translate those into designs that are efficient, effective, and logical.

Having rich industry/domain and techno-functional experience has helped Megha to deliver solutions on aggressive timelines. She has experience with the complete project lifecycle and within various areas such as development, administration, and support, helping to identify issues and resolve them quickly.

Megha was a presenter at the ODTUG Kscope21, ODTUG Learn from Home Series, and ODTUG Kscope19. She has presented webinars in ODTUG, UKOUG, INNOVATE and has written articles on several topics for ODTUG.

Mohit Jain is an Oracle ACE with over 15+ years of experience working with the Oracle EPM set of tools, primarily in HFM, FCCS, ARCS, Essbase, Planning, FDMEE, DRM and Reporting. He is a Hyperion-certified consultant in Essbase, Planning and HFM. He has implemented and supported large-scale implementations with a user base range of 100 to 500. Mohit is an avid reader and data enthusiast with a passion for consolidation, machine learning, AI, and the Python ecosystem. In his free time, he can be found playing with and teaching his kids and watching movies. 

Mohit was a presenter at the ODTUG Kscope21, ODTUG Learn from Home Series, and ODTUG Kscope19. He has presented webinars in ODTUG, UKOUG, INNOVATE and has written articles for ODTUG on several topics. 

When asked about taking on this role, they enthusiastically shared “We are grateful to take the role of EPM Community Lead for ODTUG. Our passion for Oracle EPM grows every day because it helps us to help our clients’ businesses grow by giving them valuable information, facts, and insights on time. We are thankful that Oracle enables us to have the fastest close and on-time planning. We look forward to adding spice to our lives while serving in this new role.”

Like many in the organization, ODTUG President Tim German is excited at the prospect of Megha and Mohit stepping into this leadership role. "Megha and Mohit have a long record of contributions to the ODTUG EPM community,” German said. “The board is delighted that they have agreed to take on the role of community Lead and we look forward to working with them, and I'm personally happy to see them leading the community of which I'm a part. We would also like to recognize and thank the previous lead, Jay Chapman, for the work he has done in the role and his service to the community."

ODTUG Board member Gary Crisci also believes Megha and Mohit will be a valuable presence for the EPM Community. "I am very pleased to see Megha and Mohit take on leadership roles in the EPM Community. I expect they will bring fresh ideas and a sense of enthusiasm to help our organization to best serve our members."
