Mark, Jerry, and Floyd have all been on the forefront of Fusion architecture, with experience in helping many organizations with the installation, customization, and performance tuning of Fusion Middleware. All three will share tips and techniques for installing and configuring key components of Fusion Middleware: Oracle’s WebLogic, SOA Suite, BPM Suite, ADF, and OBIEE.

Oracle strategists will describe how Oracle plans to incorporate these technologies via web services and integration utilities recently added to extend PeopleSoft Campus Solutions via tools such as ADF and AMX.

Integrating BI with Oracle Fusion Middleware: Tips, Techniques, and Opportunities

Oracle Business Intelligence is a key component of Fusion Middleware (FMW) providing a metadata layer, shared/user–defined calculation, rich interactive dashboards & visualizations, and connectivity to Oracle Essbase multi–dimensional analysis. Oracle BI shares security, ADF development environment, and management tools with the rest of the Fusion Middleware suite, making it possible to embed BI into applications, business processes, and portals.
This session looks at how BI functionality can be used in FMW applications and business processes, and how BI dashboards and other visualizations can be included in ADF applications. The session will see what works and what's not quite there, and how Oracle uses integration capabilities in Fusion applications.

This session demonstrates using just one tool, JDeveloper, and one framework, Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), to develop mobile applications. You will see options for ADF Rich Client & Trinidad Components and get introduced to the ADF Mobile Framework. ADF Mobile Framework makes it possible to create one application that runs on multiple mobile platforms. ADF Mobile Framework leverages ADF Developer skills so the learning curve for mobile development is lowered significantly.
