Meetup Recap: Wichita EPM-BI Meetup
By Mike LaBarge
The latest Wichita Area EPM-BI Enthusiast Meetup on April 25 was another big success with 20+ attendees, including several first-time participants. Jason Karber and the rest of the Koch EPM team hosted the meetup at the Koch Industries headquarters in Wichita. After a “Truth or Lie” ice-breaker game, Jason provided a very informative presentation entitled Enhancing with the Stars -– Use Cases of HFM Data Extract via Flat File and the Star Schema. This was followed by a live demo presentation on Essbase Partitioning by Mike LaBarge. The group had a brief discussion of EPM issues and closed with a preview of interesting sessions coming up at ODTUG KScope17. Plans are already underway for a July Meetup with details to follow.
