Jason Latimer is a magician and scientist dedicated to inspiring wonder. In 2018, he joined David Copperfield and David Blaine as one of the few recipients of the highly coveted Golden Grolla Award from the Masters of Magic. As a magician, his long list of accolades includes "Grand Prix 'Best Overall' World Champion of Magic" as well as the title of series champion of The Magicians on BBC One. Jason is the creator of "Impossible Science," the academic platform that unites magic and science to spark curiosity in education. He is the curator of Impossible Science at the Fleet Science Center in San Diego, CA, and his STEM program has expanded to science centers throughout Southern California. Impossible Science's labs festivals, exhibitions, live shows, and digital series have inspired hundreds of thousands of visitors to embrace their ability to explore the world by asking questions.
Today, Jason co-hosts the Science Channel's new series SciJinks with Johnny Galecki and Tamara Robertson. Recently, he was the keynote speaker at Education First's Global Leadership Summit, in both New York and Berlin, speaking on The Influence of Technology on Society. He also gave the closing keynote of the USA Science and Engineering Festival on Impossible Science and Education Through Curiosity, the largest science festival in the country.
