In this session, attendees will learn why Groovy should be embedded from the ground up and how it can improve implementations.

From eliminating consolidations to keeping all applications synchronized on the fly, to allowing top-down data entry to eliminating BSO altogether, the introduction and growth of Groovy is not something you bolt on at the end of a project, it marks a brand-new day of creativity, the chance to start over with tools from a new product.

This session will focus on how to get started building your expertise in Groovy and allow you to implement creative design concepts. It will cover the basics of writing a Groovy calculation and will provide some key concepts that will help create dynamic and reusable scripts.

Attendees will leave this session with an understanding of the 4 pillars of Groovy. They will learn some basic concepts and will know where to get started on the path to becoming an expert. Attendees will be introduced to the power of using Groovy and understand why simply reusing examples will not allow them to be successful.
